I'm so glad I was able to find Jacob through Yelp. I had a disastrous haircut at another salon, even after getting it fixed at the same reputable salon, it was still a hot mess. I read Jacob was a magician and I needed exactly that to fix the horrible choppy layers in my hair. At this point, I had lost a lot of length to my hair and I was skeptical that it could be corrected, but to my surprise Jacob did magic. My hair is blended in so well, the layers look nice, hair looks fuller and healthy. For reference, I'm new to Austin and think I found my stylist. Highly recommended.

Jacob is the one of the best hair stylists in Austin! I've been going to him for five years. If you like to change up your hair from time to time like me, he's the best. He listens to what i wanna do with my hair (no matter it's long, wavy hair or short bob hairstyle) and give me advice on the best with my hair. Most importantly, the result is always amazing. I have thick Asian hair and Jacob has been doing my cut and balayage for years. He is the only one I trust with my hair because he understands exactly what it needs and is careful to make sure it's done right. I've asked for balayages that have taken 8+ hours to do because of how thick my hair is and Jacob was great company throughout the whole process, even feeding me snacks . He knows exactly how to remove the weight of the hair while keeping volume. It's kind of magical. I've gone from black to blonde and all the colors in between with Jacob, and my hair is still healthy and never brassy. Yes, a good color job is expensive, but quality costs money folks and trust me it is worth it.

Jacob has been cutting and coloring my hair for about six months now, and I've gotten more compliments on my hair in those six months than in the FIFTEEN years prior to that. Seriously! Jacob is a genius. For the first time in my life, I have a haircut that looks like I just came from the salon even when I style it myself. And he somehow manages to create a beautiful color that also disguises the grey in my roots as it grows out (I haven't pulled out my Color Wow Root Cover Up in six months, either). As other reviewers have mentioned, Jacob always takes such care and time with every cut. As an added bonus, he's also great fun to talk to! I am beyond thrilled to have found him.
