I love this salon. I visit here to get my brows shaped by Christine. She is the only person I trust with my brows because she has the eye for perfect shape that fits your face, not a one shape fits all. She is incredibly sweet and patient with all my special requests. Plus she is being super safe and responsible with covid. She has the coolest mask that allows her to thread safely. Come and visit her because your brows will thank you.

I had a great make-up lesson today with Christine Stafford at Mantis. Came in with my usual make-up on -- she gave me suggestions, took it all off, and redid me using my products and it looked fantastic! I found her on Youtube as a guest on my favorite make-up lady's channel and learned that she lives in Austin and will soon have her own Youtube channel. She's worked for all the big name cosmetics lines and knows her stuff -- you can tell because she looks so lovely. I don't want to wash my face tonite! I want her to be my big sister so we can play with make-up every week! It was my first time in Mantis and I found it to have a very attractive, welcoming atmosphere. Catherine S.

I've been getting my hair cut by Chris for over 3 years!! He's awesome and not only do you leave with a great cut, when it grows out it still looks great!! He's also a fantastic resource for local happenings, even doing a couple social gatherings at the space a couple times a month. When you go be sure to check out the art in all rooms. It's always by a local artist and there's always a great story to go along with them!!

David Moore is one of the best hairdressers in Austin. Known for his color, but his background as a Sassoon trained haircutter is underlooked. David also is great with finishing, bridal work. He's been my go-to for along time. He is super up on all of the trends, but knows how to cut and color for your facial and head shape. Chris does my color, and what a pro! He's quick, very professional and friendly. Such a great atmosphere and I dig his art collection. Kevin Murphy hair products are sold there, they are my fave. Don't hesitate to try it out!
